At Monkey Business, we don't monkey around - unless it's with ideas. Founded by two best friends who survived agency life and started their own monkey business, we deliver end-to-end design for every kind of brand collateral - from the first concept to final rollout.
We met in agency life, survived the deck-at-midnight years together, and eventually walked out to do the work the way we wanted to do it. No layers between the strategy and the execution. No juniors presenting someone else's thinking. Just the two of us, a small crew we trust, and a short list of brands we can name on sight.
The studio runs on a simple promise: strategic, seamless, and with a hint of mischief. We make sure every piece works beautifully, speaks clearly, and leaves a mark. From the first concept conversation to the final production file, the same pair of eyes stays on the project. You never get handed off.
The mascot came later - half joke, half logo, now the most booked member of the team. He shows up on every business card, every email sign-off, and occasionally in person when the brief calls for it.
We cap the studio at 12 full-time people. Past that, the Slack messages start to cost more than the craft.
A well-kerned headline will outsell a poorly kerned one. A fast website converts better than a slow beautiful one. Craft is commercial.
If your brief is broken we will tell you. If a strategy won't hold, we will say so on day three, not month three.
One kickoff, weekly 30-minute reviews, one presentation per phase. No status calls. Everything else is written.
The people you meet are the people doing the work. No outsourced juniors, no freelancer chains you never see.
It turns out the best work happens when the studio isn't miserable. Radical, we know.
Two founders, a small crew of craftspeople on permanent retainer, and a mascot who does not respond to emails. Every project has a named lead. No floating accounts team, no outsourced juniors.

A 400 sq ft office in Khar with three chairs and a printer that never worked. First client is a cold-press juice label.
A hospitality group signs on for a year. We learn, expensively, that scope creep is real and contracts matter.
The world stops. Our packaging work doubles. We hire two illustrators and move everything to remote-first.
We open a 1,200 sq ft production space in Bandra with a cyc wall and a kitchen, because food shoots on folding tables are a lie.
We cross the half-century mark and celebrate with a very long lunch. Mascot gets a fresh redraw.
Eight full-timers. Twenty-four active briefs. A mascot, a rebuild of this site, and an espresso machine that works.
